Charoite
Found only in Russia, charoite is a silicate mineral so vividly purple, many assume it must be dyed. But its violet hue is real, as are its characteristically lovely swirling patterns of white and gray. Although it’s often confused with other purple rocks such as sugilite, amethyst, and lepidolite, those in the know can always tell charoite apart by these unique and complex waves, bands, speckles, and spots. Because it can be found in massive chunks, there’s often enough surface area for these patterns to be quite eye-catching. Large or small, this purple beauty is perfectly suited to daydreamers and creatives, who know how important it is to give our thoughts plenty of space to swirl and dance. Whether you want to unlock from rigid thinking, lose yourself in an extended fantasy, or brainstorm your way to some fresh ideas, take a cue from charoite and give your brain a break. Unplug for a while and let your thoughts dance, mix, and blend: An extended daydreaming session will provide the answers, inspiration, and replenishment you so need.
The Bottom Line
DAYDREAM
“Let your thoughts swirl and flow.”
One Or More Of These Messages Are For You
-
- Unplug for a while: Your brain needs to daydream!
- If you’ve been overly focused or busy lately, schedule a block of time to do nothing but let your mind wander.
- If you’re trying to solve a problem or get an idea, stop thinking about it for a while and let your mind drift aimlessly instead. The best ideas often come when we’re not chasing them so hard.
- Are you addicted to scrolling the internet? That constant stimulation will wreck your ability to think, solve problems, be creative, and become the person you’re meant to be. If you don’t unplug and give your thoughts a chance to roam and play freely, you’ll never find out who you are and could be.
- If you’ve already unplugged, charoite is giving you a standing ovation!
- If you already have a daydreamy mind that loves to dance from one thing to another, find projects that thrive in your rich creative potential.
