Have you ever been walking along, minding your own business, only to have something stop you in your tracks? Maybe it was a feather, a coin, a butterfly, a nostalgic scent, a repetition of numbers, or a snippet of song. Whatever it was, it felt like a message just for you. You can think of Cross Stone as the mineral version of that feeling. Like the name says, this variety of chiastolite displays a cross (partially made of graphite) right through its center, or, depending on how you hold it, an X, as in “X marks the spot.” It’s made even more eye-catching by displaying different colors from different angles, and when you learn that graphite is the same mineral used to make pencil lead, the feeling of this rock trying to catch your attention and send you a message gets even stronger. But what, exactly, is cross stone trying to say? Think of this rock as the messenger, not the message. It’s telling you to, well, keep alert for signs. Stay aware over the next few days because someone, somewhere, is trying to get your attention. All you need to do is keep your mind, heart, eyes, and ears open and see what comes.

The Bottom Line

IT IS A SIGN!
“Stay alert for a message.”

One Or More Of These Messages Are For You

    • Stay open to signs from the universe: It’s trying to tell you something.
    • Someone in the spirit world is saying “hello.”
    • A sign can come from nearly anywhere: a line in a book or song that jumps out at you, an unusual animal or bird encounter, a dream, a smell, a strange coincidence or chance meeting, or an idea that pops into our head. As long as it holds meaning for you, it counts.
    • If you were wondering if something that happened to you recently was a sign, it was!
    • If you’re a Christian, consider taking a few moments to pray and ask god what he’s trying to tell you.
    • Are you at an important crossroads in life? Ask for a sign to help you decide which way to go.
    • You’re in the right place to find your buried treasure, but you may need to dig a bit before uncovering it.
