Lots of rocks and minerals look bright and colorful by daylight. That’s easy. What’s really impressive is looking colorful in the dark. Though fluorite isn’t the only mineral that can “fluoresce” in beautiful colors under ultraviolet light (also known as “black light”), it’s so well known for it it’s the rock the phenomena was named after. But this mineral is beloved for its radiant colors even without the glow, especially its gorgeously translucent purples and greens. Finally, fluorite is connected to bright smiles, too: fluorine, an element that also took its name from this rock, is the source of the fluoride in your toothpaste. If this rock is coming up for you now, it’s because our world desperately needs more light and smiles, and it’s calling on you for help! You have great capacity for joy, and you can be the light that helps others find their way. Never let anyone make you feel guilty for enjoying life and being happy. Shake off guilt and dejection; they only add to the world’s darkness. The best thing you can do right now is find your joy and optimism, shine bright, and refuse to let anyone dim your light!

The Bottom Line

RADIANCE
“A light in the dark.”

One Or More Of These Messages Are For You

    • The universe wants to thank you for the light you bring to the world.
    • You do best when surrounded by light, positive people and environments.
    • Never feel guilt for being happy! The world has enough misery; what it needs more of is joy.
    • You may be more of an extrovert than you realize.
    • Give yourself a recharge by laughing and having fun with positive, happy people.
    • You can only continue to give if you regularly recharge yourself.
    • As best you can, avoid dark, heavy, or negative people.
    • Take a news break. Soaking up a bunch of grim news you can do nothing about helps absolutely no-one.
    • You may need more time in the sun, literally, so get out and soak up some rays.
    • If you feel you’ve been stuck in a dark place of late, take heart: A light is being sent to guide you out.
