If you ask a rockhound to describe prehnite, one word sure to come up is “odd.” Often found with an unusually rounded surface, which itself is rather odd for a mineral, you may also hear it described as elongated, bubbly, globular, encrusting, or, in even rarer cases, blocky or flattened. You’d also be hard-pressed to find another mineral likened to so many different and random objects, from fingers and snake heads to wedges, grapes, bubbles, balls, and even helmets. Prehnite is not, in other words, your boring, consistent, everyday mineral. If it’s coming up for you now, it’s to encourage you to find and flaunt your own inner-weirdness, or embrace eccentricity in others. And if you find yourself strangely drawn to this mineral, you’re probably a bit of an oddity yourself!

The Bottom Line

ECCENTRICITY
“Embrace the strange, the unusual, the odd.”

One Or More Of These Messages Are For You

    • Do something utterly weird and random today.
    • If you’re considered a bit unusual, embrace it and be proud!
    • Now is the time to go against the crowd and flaunt your differences.
    • If you recently met someone odd, or meet them soon, don’t shy away. They may turn out to be just what you’ve been searching for.
    • Spend more time with your most eccentric friend.
    • Try seeing your current situation from a totally new, unique, or even strange perspective.
    • The answer to your question might be something completely different from anything you’ve thought before.
    • If you were ever shamed for being unusual, you may have repressed that side of yourself, thinking it was somehow unacceptable. If so, it’s time to accept and celebrate that part of you, instead.
    • If your life has been feeling boring or flat, it’s time to shake things up by experiencing something out of the ordinary.
    • Get out there and find yourself some lovable weirdos!
